From humble beginnings in a small rented warehouse in Melbourne, DS Chemport (Australia) Pty Ltd has grown to become a well known name in the printing and graphic arts industry.

Company begins operations as Chemport (Australia) Pty Ltd supplying Australian made pressroom chemicals to the Australian market. |

1988 |
Alliance established with DS Druckerei Service GmbH in Germany. |

1989 |
Establishment of a joint venture operation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia called DS Chemport (Malaysia) Sdn Bdh. |

1994 |
Due to rapid growth, manufacturing and head office relocated to a new facility in Campbellfield, Victoria. Company name changed to DS Chemport (Australia) Pty Ltd to reflect global relationships. |

1997 |
Company expands product offering from pressroom chemicals to include UV curable inks and coatings and waterbased coatings. |

1999 |
DS Chemport purchases a local manufacturer in Auckland in order to increase market presence in New Zealand. |
|
2003 |
DS Chemport acquired by Fuji Hunt Photo Chemicals, a subsidiary of Fujifilm Corporation, Japan. |

2006 |
Product range expanded to include post press products such as stitching wire, strapping and adhesives. |
|
2008 |
DS Chemport is appointed exclusive distributor for Vulcan blankets in Australia and constructs a new, state-of-the-art 2000 m2 converting facility on the existing Campbellfield site. |
